This module primarily uses the Azure portal and command line interface to create resources and does not require scripting skills. Students in this course will gain confidence to take other role-based courses and certifications, such as Azure Administrator. This module combines lecture, demonstrations, and hands-on labs.

When a company wants to implement a DevOps culture, it is important that all the actors who will be part of the journey understand what the DevOps culture is and what it can bring to their daily lives. This module guarantees that the participants will be aligned with the DevOps culture in terms of vocabulary, basic principles, and concepts.

Cost management is a challenge with cloud platforms, with a new consumption-based model dominated by OPEX, is stark contrast with the op-premises model make mainly of CAPEX, fixed hardware, and licenses costs. After this module, students will acquire a good understanding of the new model, and how it can be managed and optimized in Azure. Azure is taken as an example and the processes can be transplanted to AWS and Google.
