Introduction to PHP – the widely used server-side language!

64,00

PHP is a widely used, open source, general-purpose scripting language that can be used to develop dynamic and interactive websites. It was one of the first server-side languages that could be embedded in a website (HTML). PHP is still the most commonly used language in web applications after JavaScript (Source: State of the Developer Nation 2022).
Some of the biggest companies around the world use PHP, including Facebook, Wikipedia, Yahoo, Etsy, WordPress and Tumblr.

This entry-level course aims to give an introduction to PHP, especially concentrating on the language itself, server-side validation and PHP templating.

The training sessions are very hands-on oriented in dedicated computer rooms. Participants can also bring their own laptop. Through an active engagement, we will have a look at versatile use-cases of PHP and especially use it for validation purposes.
