This course is aimed primarily at adult women aged 18 and over who are looking for work, looking for a job or looking for a career change. Whether you’re new to Luxembourg, in the process of setting up your own business or already a local entrepreneur, you’re all welcome! The programme is a three-day coding session. It consists of an introduction to HTML, CSS and javascript. The course will be followed by 15 days during which participants can continue to learn using online exercises provided and supported by the team.

Contents
- HTML (elements, attributes, headings, paragraphs, styles, formatting, colors, links, images, table, lists…).
- CSS (syntax, selector, class, padding, margin, boarder, div, sprite,text, color, background, navigation bar…).
- Javascript (syntax, variable, function, objects, strings…).
Objective
The participants will gain knowledge of various programming languages. The will learn the basics of HTML / CSS and Javascript in order to perform analyses on sites such as WordPress or any other HTML / CSS file.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the participants will be more at ease collaborating in technical teams and projects. They will acquire useful jargon and concepts in programming and web development. The session is also an introduction to coding for the participants to assess their interest in further learning opportunities, especially within DLH.
