This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of usability and UX. It is based on content from the International Usability and User Experience Qualification Board (UXQB).
The course introduces you to the basic methods of UX, for example, the human-centered design activities, user research and usability testing. It also introduces you to basic terms in UX, for example user experience, interview, persona, scenario, user requirement, user journey map, prototype and usability inspection.
The course has a practical approach to the material, with hands-on exercises, quizzes, discussions and questions. About 50% of the course time will be spent on exercises and quizzes.
The course is based on the CPUX-F curriculum, which is freely available on www.uxqb.org.

Food and drinks are not included in the course prices and need to be taken care of individually.
After the course, you can take an optional exam online at your desired date at an independent institute, for example, www.certible.de. If you pass the exam, you will get a CPUX-F certificate as proof of your abilities, see www.uxqb.org. The costs for the certification exam (300,- EUR) are not included in the price of the course. The course contains quiz questions and a mock exam that lets you prepare for the certification exam in the best possible way. The mock exam is helpful even if you don’t want to take the certification exam.
An additional crash course is available for repeating the main contents of the exam.
Certification
This training does not have any assessment or exams; a certificate of participation will be issued to participants.
