Today, digital technology is everywhere, influencing almost every workplace and work capacity. We aim to help participants fully embrace these changes, despite the challenges, so they are better equipped to find a job, launch their own venture or change careers. This short set of courses aims to help women discover opportunities in the digital field. We will be working on Project Management, User Experience, entrepreneurial competencies, challenges in today’s work environment in relation to digital evolution, employability and the use of Content Management System.

Introduction to UX and Project Management

This course will focus on User experience (UX) and Project Management. It will focus on the process which design teams use to create products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. It will also focus on the application of processes, to achieve specific objectives and parameters.

Digital Entrepreneurship 101

This course aims to help women with their tech entrepreneurial journey and give them insights and advice on how to start their projects. The first part of the session is a lecture full of informations and the second part will serve as practice.

Introduction to new digital trends

Digital transformation is always evolving, this course aims to help women assess the opportunities that these digital trends can offer them. The session will be divide into two parts. The first half will be dedicated to discovering and understanding the new digital trends while the other half will be dedicated to practicing some of them.

Employability, get prepared for your next digital job

This course aims to help women retrain and find new jobs. During this session, participants will receive help regarding their cover letters, their social media visibility, the state of the market and where to look for a job in Luxembourg. The first part will be a theoretical workshop and the second part, participants will be able to put into practice what they have learned.

Introduction to Wordpress

Launched 20 years ago, WordPress is the most powerful content management system (CMS) on the web. The participants will learn the difference between the two versions of Wordpress and which version is the best depending on their objectives and technical skills. From theory to practice they will be able to start their first website or blog.

This set of courses will give the participant a better understanding about the current digital challenges and opportunities as well as digital entrepreneurship. The learners will gain theoretical knowledge and put these competencies into practice.
