The DLH offers a voluntary support group for people who have signed up for the online course “Elements of AI” developed by MinnaLearn and the University of Helsinki.
Elements of AI is a free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) designed to encourage a broad group of people to learn what AI is, what you can (and cannot) do with AI, and how to start developing AI methods.
The MOOC combines theoretical and practical exercises and can be taken at your own pace.
DLH SUPPORT GROUP
The DLH offers 3 face-to-face sessions where participants meet at the Digital Learning Hub with two experienced AI trainers.
The aim of the support group is to:
- Review the content of the MOOC
- Discuss use cases:
- How does AI improve the efficiency of your company?
- How are Convolutional Neural Networks used in the robotic industry?
- Hold Q&A sessions
Webinars
In addition to the MOOC itself, the University of Luxembourg Competence Centre organizes 7 webinars to give complementary presentations on each of the chapters covered in the MOOC.
A Slack Channel has been created to allow organizers and participants to talk about the topic.

Objective
Support learners who participate in the MOOC and Webinars with face-to-face sessions led by experienced trainers.
Learning Outcomes
Facilitate the understanding of the MOOC, encourage exchanges between participants and the creation of a community interested in AI.
Schedule
This training has a total of 7 hours and takes place over 3 days:
- Day 1/3: 02.03.2023 17:00 – 19:00 (Chapter 1 + 2 Review and Q&A Session)
- Day 2/3: 20.03.2023 17:00 – 19:00 (Chapter 3 + 4 Review and Q&A Session)
- Day 3/3: 05.04.2023 16:00 – 19:00 (Chapter 5 + 6 Review, global review and Q&A Session)
