Objective
- Hands on workshop showing first message scrambling techniques of old Greece to modern encryption.
- Introduction to modern cryptography: symmetric, assymetic, hashes, signatures, certificates.
Learning Outcomes
Learn that a good password and a good algorithm are important for securing data. Introducing high level concepts of public key infrastructure. Understand digital signatures without any formulas.

Prerequisites
The first part of this course is especially aimed at novice users of security tools (everyone) to explain what is happeneing below the surface. No computer skills or mathematics needed. The second part will cover an overview of today’s cryptography.
